Tyler Roneker is an R&D Engineer at the Jacobs Institute and a Bieler Scholarship recipient for 2023. He earned his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and is currently pursuing his M.S. in Product Development at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Prior to joining the JI, he held positions within various medical device industries such as Spinal & Orthopedics, Surgical Stapling, Combination Products, In-Vitro Diagnostics, and Surgical Devices.

Outside of the JI, Tyler volunteers as Philanthropy Advisor to RIT’s Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity focused on helping members discover and develop opportunities to continue making a positive impact within the Rochester Community. He also enjoys spending time with friends & family, hiking, enjoying a good book, or (with his bartending background) figuring out the next best cocktail recipes!
