The right model for the right test: in-vitro, in vivo, ex vivo, in the same place with the same team.

Pre-clinical device testing

TESTING SERVICES

IN-VITRO TESTING

We have experience testing a variety of vascular and surgical devices. Whether evaluating design feasibility, generating specifications, or using validated methods in preparation for regulatory submission, we can help develop customized test methods and protocols, perform testing, and provide comprehensive reports. Combining review and analysis of patient scans with 3D-printed custom anatomical models, we help guide you to the right design targets.

in vivo TESTING

The JI and our collaborators have extensive experience with pre-clinical in vivo vascular and neurological disease models. Safety and efficacy studies can be GLP or non-GLP compliant, depending on the stage of product development.

ex vivo AND CADAVERIC TESTING

Our wet labs and cross-disciplinary team enable testing with human tissue. We offer perfused, non-perfused, and excised cadaveric tissue studies, in addition to testing with clinical specimens.

TESTING FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT

Our reconfigurable simulated operating suite and testing labs are set up for everything from qualitative device benchmarking to quantitative pressure and flow measurement with simulated waveforms, to mechanical and rheological characterization of device components and biological tissues.
