Shawn Kuhn is a Production Supervisor at the Jacobs Institute.  With over 30-years in the industry, he brings extensive experience in prototype development, 3D printing operations, and manufacturing supervision.

He joins us from Fisher-Price Toys, where he worked as a Master Model Maker for nearly two decades, managing casting, CNC, and rapid prototyping areas while training associates.

Shawn holds an A.A.S. in Model Making and Graphic Design & Illustration, along with certifications in machine operation and airbrush illustration.

In his role at the Jacobs Institute, Shawn will be a critical member of our 3D printing operations, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 standards, and collaborating with engineers, physicians, and researchers to drive medical device innovation.
