Michael is a senior R&D engineer at the Jacobs Institute. His primary role is the development of new products as part of the i2R, Idea to Reality Center.
For over 10 years, Michael has successfully brought multiple medical devices from concept to production during his time at Buffalo Filter and ConMed. His various roles have included the ideation, design, rapid prototyping, testing, product qualification and manufacturability of products ranging from small handheld instruments to large capital equipment for the OR. He graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering.
In his free time, Michael enjoys gaming, woodworking, snowboarding and building igloos.
