Michael Spengler is an R&D Engineer at the JI. His responsibilities include supporting Quality Management System initiatives, ensuring that the JI’s processes, services, and product designs meet client, industry, and regulatory requirements.
He has former experience working as both a Quality Control Lab Tech and a Quality Control Applications Specialist at Athenex, Inc. Michael graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering in 2018. For his Capstone Engineering Project, he designed a neurorehabilitation glove to help restore hand movement in patients who are experiencing a neurological disease, such as muscular atrophy or stroke.
Being born and raised in Western New York, he is both a Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan. Michael’s favorite place is his outdoor cabin, where he enjoys hiking and spending time in nature. He also loves to golf.
