As Director of People & Operations at the Jacobs Institute, Courtney leads the organization’s efforts to foster a high-performing, inclusive, and values-driven workplace. She oversees human resources, facilities, internal operations, and organizational culture, playing a key role in shaping JI’s employee experience and ensuring operational excellence across teams.

With a background in HR and operations,  Courtney brings 15+ years of experience in managing people-centered initiatives, streamlining workflows, and building strong internal systems to support the mission of driving innovation in vascular medicine. Prior to joining JI, Courtney held leadership roles in event management and hospitality.

Known for a thoughtful, people-first approach and a passion for helping teams thrive, Courtney is committed to aligning JI’s day-to-day operations with its long-term strategic goals.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring Buffalo’s local food scene, and taking weekend hikes along Western New York’s scenic trails with her husband and twin toddlers. She’s also passionate about community involvement and volunteers regularly with local organizations.
