About HEATHER CAMPBELL

Heather Campbell is the Education Coordinator at the Jacobs Institute. Heather is responsible for organizing JI’s educational outreach programs including the college and high school summer internships and the Brain Boot Camps, which teach students about vascular disease and careers in STEM.

Prior to the Jacobs institute, Heather worked as the Professional Science Master’s Program Coordinator at SUNY Buffalo State for the Data Science and Applied Math graduate programs where she helped with recruiting, social media marketing, career development, alumni relations, career placement, and event planning.

Heather has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Concordia College in Moorhead Minnesota and a master’s degree in cancer immunology from the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Graduate Division of the University at Buffalo.

Heather was born and raised in Minnesota and moved to Buffalo for graduate school. She is passionate about sustainability and supporting women in STEM. In her free time, she likes to bake, do craft projects, and spend time with her two cats (Georgie and Darwin).
